Hello All,

Sue was gracious to allow me time to post on the blog so I thought I would take the opportunity. We have now been in AR for a little over a week and I would say it feels more and more comfortable with each passing day. We are finding our way around much better and the kids are doing GREAT considering all the changes they had to endure this past week. We have already started looking at a few houses and have not really found anything real appealing in our price range. It appears the search could be more involved than we thought initially, but in God's time, we believe the right house will be presented to us. We have made a BIG purchase however, a nice shiny new rubber raft. It was tough for us to be staying on this lake without having the ability to get out and navigate Lake Windsor, so we have now solved the problem with a nice $30 raft. We have posted some pictures of the maiden voyage as well as pictures of the house for you all to see. Hope you enjoy them and we will continue to stay in touch.

We've arrived in Arkansas!

We arrived in Arkansas on Friday and had a really good trip here. The kids did great in the car thanks to separate DVD players for each of them! Our rental house is nice. It is on a lake in Bella Vista - probably 1/2 hour drive for Brian to work in Bentonville. Bella Vista seems to be more of a retirement and vacation community. We will probably end up buying a house closer to work for Brian. The kids seem to be adjusting well. Today was the first day that Cade mentioned going back to Michigan. He said "I want to go to Michigan to see Grandpa and Grandma and my cousins." But they have had a lot of fun. We have going to several parks, a pool with a waterslide, a minor league baseball game, a splash park, and they have gone swimming in a few differant lakes and streams. Things are going well and we hope that continues!
